Grace period: your domain is not lost the moment it expires. You can still renew at the normal price during this window at no extra charge, though the site stays offline.
Restore fee: once the grace period ends the domain enters redemption. This is the fee to recover it, charged on top of the renewal price.
Some local extensions have a grace period but no redemption stage: a domain not renewed within its grace period is released for re-registration and cannot be recovered at any price.
After expiry the website and the mailboxes on the domain stop working. Once the grace period ends the domain is released for re-registration and its data can never be reached again.
We email you 90, 15 and 1 day before your domain expires.
